Like fine wine, Fuji's flavour improves with age. With a mild, sweet flavour, these apples are often large in size and are great for cooking. Featuring a lovely pink speckled flush over a yellow-green background, this type is a cross between the Red Delicious, and Ralls Janet, which is much less familiar, but is one of the reasons for Fuji's attractive pink flush.
Usage: Excellent for salads, snacks and makes great applesauce.
